The briefing about M/Y Kambos Blue photo shooting was quite short and clear.
She is a relatively small and super fast luxurious yacht, with impressively comfortable interiors. So the first goal was to show the yacht’s elegant fast cruise from above. We chose a flexible drone with big autonomy and launched it from a hill close to the harbor, having a perfect panoramic view. We used two separate remote controls, one for the drone and one for the camera. The yacht was cruising in full speed and her captain was following our instructions about the direction and the turns. The job was done successfully in about 1,5 hours. At the end of the same day, after finishing all exterior shots, I had the chance to capture a beautiful sunset on board, with the sun reflecting on the main salon’s windows.
All shots were made outside Vouliagmeni bay, in the south east suburbs of Athens Greece.
